Palestinian Women: Victims of Dual Marginalization in the Face of Internal and External Violence

Marwan Bishara, Al Jazeera’s senior political analyst, suggests that the clashes between Hezbollah and Israel are currently “contained but could get out of hand” due to potential miscalculations.
Bishara points out that there are voices within Israel advocating for an attack on Hezbollah following the conflict in Gaza, with the intention of pushing the Iran-allied group away from the Israeli border in the north.
The conflict between Hezbollah fighters and Israeli forces has been ongoing since October, but as of now, it has not escalated into a full-scale war. Notably, the Biden administration has deployed aircraft carriers and military assets to the region, emphasizing that its goal is to deter other actors from becoming involved in the conflict.
